This page explains how to request account deactivation, portfolio deactivation, data deletion, and data corrections for Trac app users and portfolios.

How to submit a request#

To request any of the following, contact support@trac.bot:

  • User data deletion.
  • User account deactivation.
  • Portfolio data deletion.
  • Portfolio deactivation.
  • Data correction or other data-rights-related requests.

Data correction requests may also be handled through your portfolio Customer Success Engineer (CSE), when applicable.

Timelines#

After we receive all required documentation, we follow these target timelines:

  • Follow-up to inquiries: within 7 days.
  • User deactivation completion: within 30 days.
  • User data cleanup/deletion: within 30 days.

In complex cases, such as portfolio deletion, timelines may be extended where permitted by applicable law.

Verification requirements#

Before any deactivation, deletion, or correction action is taken, we require positive proof of identity and proof of portfolio ownership (as applicable). This verification step helps protect user and portfolio data from unauthorized requests.

Accessing your data#

We do not support sending data retrieval exports by email.

All data we maintain for a person or a portfolio can be accessed through the app experience.

This page describes Trac’s operational process for privacy and data-rights requests and does not replace or modify any rights or obligations in applicable law, contracts, or our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

We may request additional information to verify identity, authority, and portfolio ownership before acting on any request. We may decline, partially fulfill, or delay requests that cannot be verified or that are prohibited by law.

In certain cases, we may retain limited data where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, audit, dispute resolution, and legal compliance purposes.

Where permitted by applicable law, timelines may be extended for complex requests, high request volume, or incomplete documentation.
